Kevin has extensive media background. Rapidly working his way through the ranks at newspapers from Account Executive to ultimately Publisher he quickly racked up national and local awards for performance and industry innovations. His numerous accomplishments include launching new products, building brands and developing concepts from strategic planning through tactical execution and completion. In addition, Kevin has developed and built sales departments from the ground up and enjoys promoting exceptional talent. He is team leader, that motivates and coach’s sales teams as well as management staff to improve business efficiency and activity, while achieving greater levels of client relationships to reduce churn and improving overall sales techniques.
Always ready for a challenge, Kevin's media experience is not only limited to newspaper, he is well adapt to Radio Broadcast and online sales strategies. Kevin is also a former member of the Florida and Georgia Press Associations. He won the 2005 Newspaper Association of America Small Market Best Idea Award while at Morris for developing classified solution called YellowAdvantage for taking back Yellow Page revenues.
Originally from Kansas City, Kevin attended Kansas State University and majored in Journalism Mass Communications. An avid sports fan, you will often find him playing golf or watching his favorite football (Kansas State and the Kansas City Chiefs) and basketball (Kansas State and University of Kansas) teams or going out to see a Baseball game in Augusta. He also loves to travel and has been abroad to Israel, The Caribbean and to various states across the U.S. In his spare time, he is very involved with his local community organizations.
One of Kevin’s passions is BBQ. He is a certified Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) and Southern Barbecue Network (SBN) judge. He often travels up to 3 hrs one way to judge BBQ events.
When not travelling for work or BBQ, you will find Kevin at home, in Augusta Georgia with his wife Tasha and enjoying the company of his small children Baxter and Adelei.
